Trainings and capacity-building

Giving back to the community is a core mission of Ujamaa Foundation, which focuses on training and capacity-building. The foundation has played a leading role in educating and engaging the community, particularly empowering youth and women across the county. Through its initiatives, Ujamaa has facilitated financial literacy programs, offering both locals and non-locals the opportunity to become the first 40 graduates under its guidance. These efforts aim to strengthen community knowledge and financial skills, contributing to long-term empowerment.

Empowering Youth through Training

Providing capacity-building programs to empower young people with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive positive change in their communities. Ujamaa Foundation emphasizes youth leadership in development initiatives.

Community Training on Development Issues

Equipping communities with the skills to address key development challenges such as education, health, and environmental sustainability. Training sessions focus on empowering locals to lead and participate in sustainable development efforts.

Financial Literacy Engagement

Delivering financial literacy programs to enable both locals and non-locals to better manage resources. Ujamaa Foundation has successfully graduated 40 participants through these initiatives, fostering financial independence and community growth.

ABOUT UJAMAA

Ujamaa Foundation is a not for profit, Community based, non governmental Youth led organization registered in the department of social development, Wajir County in 2022.

Ujamaa Foundation works with established youth groups and women groups in the six sub counties in empowering the community on development issues, Quality Education, Health, environmental protection and climate change mitigation and Peace justice and strong institutions.
